Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking about a suggestion for Helldivers 2. After hitting Level 150 and maxing out our currencies, many players feel that continuing with Major Orders becomes less meaningful. I came across a concept called ‘wipes,’ which resets players back to Level 1 and removes all resources. Games like Escape from Tarkov use this method to keep the game fresh, pushing players to hunt for new resources again. My idea is to have semi-regular wipes that only reset everything except for Warbonds purchased. This could symbolize a fresh chapter in the Galactic War, offering players a chance to progress anew without wasting time. What are your thoughts on this suggestion? Looking forward to a good discussion!

No way, I’m not grinding all my gear and levels again. Besides, Helldivers is fun because it’s not about that constant reset grind. We play it just to enjoy the gameplay, not purely for stat races!
Honestly, this wipe idea feels unnecessary. All this would do is frustrate players who have already invested so much time. It’s better to add new content that keeps the grind interesting instead. We shouldn’t be forced back to square one!
Exactly! I just think players would lose interest if they had to redo everything, especially in a game that’s already fun without those resets.
I think we could introduce something different instead, like a new mode where players get randomized gear and must survive challenges. That could add an interesting twist without wiping our progress!
I get the appeal, but Helldivers isn’t like Tarkov. They both serve different audiences. Instead of wipes, how about a Prestige system? This way, players can reset levels voluntarily without losing everything completely!
I think this sounds more like a hassle than a fun reset. Players put in countless hours just to have to start from scratch? Nah, that’s not going to fly. We’ve already dealt with grinding enough as it is!
Right? We should look for ways to enhance the game without wiping away our progress. Maybe a prestige system or something that gives us new goals without starting over completely.
