I’m playing a Dragonknight tank build right now with about 40k health. I mainly focus on quests and I’m not in a rush to take down enemies quickly; I’m more interested in maximizing my health. What heavy armor sets would be best for really pumping up those health numbers?

If you’re aiming for pure health boosts, the Plague Doctor set is your best bet since it’s all about maximizing those health numbers. You could go with a combo like:
– 5 Pieces of Plague Doctor (from Deshaan)
– 4 Pieces of Beekeeper (from Greenshade)
– 1 Piece from a monster set like Nazaray or Scourge Harvester for extra health
– 1 Piece of Druid’s Braid
– 1 Piece of Trainee
Just keep in mind that while you’ll have crazy health, it might not actually be the most effective for questing or group content since you’ll be more of a sponge than a contributor.
I use Plague Doctor too but only in harder dungeons. I’ve combined it with Turning Tide and Tremorscale to boost my performance. Honestly, you might not even need Plague Doctor if you’re just having fun with questing since 40k health should be plenty! But if you really want those big numbers, go for it!
Man, you just love those big numbers! But I get why people are trying to suggest optimal builds. If you’re just having fun and want your health to go ‘brrrr’, maybe stick with Plague Doctor and boost those numbers for the laughs!
Honestly, I don’t see why you want to increase your health even more if you’re already at 40k—and you mostly do quests? You’re probably pretty safe as it is! Just keep in mind that too much health can slow you down and make questing take longer without any real benefit, unless you’re just in it for the LOLz.
Yeah, definitely make sure to get the right traits and infusions on those pieces. You can achieve some wild health numbers, yet it might not help in terms of utility. If you want to survive long fights in PvE, consider builds like the Warden with Hatchlings Shell for damage shields and Permafrost for health recovery. It can be hilarious how tanky you get!
