I’ve added a game to my library, but I’ve heard it might be taken off the PS+ catalog. If that happens, do I still keep the game in my library, or do I lose access?

Honestly, asking this question seems a bit basic, but it’s a common confusion! Just remember, if it goes away from the catalog, it’s gone unless you buy it.
Yeah, it’s a classic case of content control. You can still play games you’ve bought outright, but with services, you have to be prepared for them to change what’s available anytime. I personally prefer physical copies for that reason.
Unfortunately, once a game is removed from the PS+ catalog, you won’t have access to it anymore. Think of it like Netflix; just because you added it to your list doesn’t mean you can keep watching if they decide to pull it.
Exactly, you’ll see a lock icon on it in your library.
So it’s like they just unlock it and you can’t play unless you buy it?
