I’m working on a Wrath and Glory adventure where the characters explore a Silver Tower, and this raises an interesting question: If they somehow manage to release the Daemon that’s powering the Tower back into the Warp, what actually happens to the Daemon Engine? Does it just collapse since it no longer has a Daemon to sustain it, turning into an inert shell, or is there something else that occurs?

There’s a term for this, called a ‘Techsorcism’ (might not be spelled right), which basically indicates that the Daemon leaves the vehicle inert. It’s also worth noting that Chaos weaponry can sometimes be reconsecrated after being used, like the Axe of Morkai.
From what I’ve read, usually the Daemon Engine just crumples when the Daemon is banished; it loses all its functionality. The Daemon goes back to the Forge of Souls to fulfill whatever soul contract it had. So basically, without the Daemon, it’s just a lifeless hunk of fleshmetal.
Honestly, it could go any way you want it to. That’s the cool part about the Warp. You can have it explode, collapse, or even do something wild like float upwards! If the Daemon was key to the structure, a collapse definitely seems likely, turning it into useless scraps.
Exactly! There’s a mention in Fabius Bile’s lore where he ejects a Daemon, resulting in the engine just falling inert on its own.
