I’m on the hunt for games that feature awesome side modes or missions, particularly those that offer endless replayability. I’m thinking along the lines of Resident Evil’s Raid and Mercenary modes, the Deniable Ops from Splinter Cell Conviction, predator maps in the Batman Arkham series, and the breach mode in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Frankly, I’ve spent more time diving into these modes than the main stories, especially with Deniable Ops and Raid Mode in RE Revelations 2.

You should definitely check out Prey 2017’s Mooncrash! It’s a roguelike mode that’s super replayable and a lot of fun.
Don’t sleep on the side-scrolling beat ’em up mode in Tekken 3! Mortal Kombat has tried the same but it never really holds up like Tekken. Oh, and Tekken Bowl from Tekken Tag is a blast too!
I’ve never tried Tekken 3 but it sounds interesting! GranBlue’s had similar modes, and chess kombat in MK Deception was oddly fun.
Hitman: World of Tomorrow has Escalations that really add to the replay value. For something more action-packed, Streets of Rage 4 with the Mr. X Nightmare DLC is awesome too! Don’t forget about Portal 2’s co-op mode; it’s a classic.
MLB The Show 2016 had this Conquest mode that was super strategic, almost like Risk with your MLB team! And also, Banjo Tooie had a Mario Party-style multiplayer mode that was packed with mini-games. It really adds a fun twist to the main game.
What about Gwent from The Witcher series? It can be super addictive, and they’ve got physical card versions that are cool too! Plus, I’ve been loving Queen’s Blood in FF7 Rebirth; it’s wild how good some RPGs are at including fun card games.
Totally agree! Mooncrash is seriously one of the best side modes I’ve played.
