I’m a moderator who spends most of my time working on one monitor, but I often have about half a minute to sneak in some gaming on my main monitor. Currently, I’m into Teamfight Tactics and Super Auto Pets. However, I struggle with deckbuilding games—I’ve beaten Slay the Spire several times and have also wrapped up Monster Train. I’ve tried other games like RuneScape and RTS titles, but they don’t really click with me. I’m looking for game suggestions that are easy to dip into briefly during work. Any thoughts?

Have you considered some turn-based games? They’re great because you can easily pause them when needed. Baldur’s Gate 3 is a fantastic RPG with a rich story and plenty of choices, plus Age of Wonders 4 combines fantasy strategy with RPG elements, allowing for different playstyles. Both can fit well with your work breaks!
If you like to keep things chill while working, try Shapez 2. It’s a factory-building game that can run in the background while you set things up. It’s super satisfying to see your factory complete tasks without needing constant attention. Plus, it’s really rewarding over time!
You might enjoy Don’t Starve or its multiplayer variant, Don’t Starve Together. They let you explore at your own pace and can be really engaging without requiring nonstop focus. Also, check out Crying Suns and Seven: Enhanced Edition; they both offer unique experiences that might fit your gaming style!
