Hey everyone! Growing up, I was a huge fan of the Tomb Raider series, especially Rise of the Tomb Raider. I loved exploring hidden temples, the survival crafting elements, and the balance of combat and story in the early games. However, I found Shadow of the Tomb Raider lacking, especially in combat, and I experienced so many bugs that I had to quit before finishing. I recently tried the Indiana Jones game, but it was a letdown in terms of performance and gameplay. I’m on the lookout for other games similar to Tomb Raider. Any recommendations?

How about God of War? It’s a fantastic game with a well-crafted story and engaging combat. I totally understand how easy it is to get lost in the details though!
And of course, Uncharted is a classic recommendation. It has that adventure vibe you’re looking for. Other games like Zelda: BotW, Metro: Exodus, and Jedi: Fallen Order are also good choices, though they stray a bit from the formula.
If you haven’t already, you should try the original Tomb Raider games! They just remastered the first six, but the first one is a classic. Just be prepared for some old-school gameplay!
You might want to check out the Uncharted series! It’s a bit more action-oriented, but it shares a lot of similar themes with Tomb Raider and has some great storytelling.
The Horizon games are also a great match! They might not have guns, but the bow gameplay feels similar to the more recent Tomb Raider titles. You could also check out Kena: Bridge of Spirits, though its combat is different.
Yeah, I’m actually playing that right now! I keep forgetting where I left off because I take breaks, but I’m loving all the details and Atreus’s journal entries.
