There is a long port at the back of the Series X, what is this port for, it doesn’t look like any standard connections I am used to seeing on motherboards.

This is likely the memory expansion port. Prepare for your wallet to be raided for one of these bad boys. They might look good and be simple to use, they cost a bomb! You insert one of these into the port at the back of the console and it will upgrade the system storage giving you a nice increase to the storage space you can use for games.
