I have been clearing off the caves and stuff that are marked on the map with the rainbow icon and I have spotted a bunch of other icons that look like a crosshair. A dot with 4 curved lines around it. I have gone to the location on the map for a few of them and I dont see anything there. What are these icons on the game map for?

You must leave the farm before you can drive a vehicle. Open the director and go to any of the planets in the game. Once you get here, bring up the ghost menu (tap the touch pad on the ps4). On the bottom left, you will see there is a control for your vehicle (hold Square on the PS4). This will equip your vehicle and let you drive it around.
