I’m considering buying this gaming PC priced at around $2100 AUD (about $1340 USD) and would love to hear what you all think. My main use will be gaming at 1080p, possibly 1440p in the future. Here’s the spec list:
– AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (8 Cores, 16 Threads, 4.6GHz)
– Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC Motherboard
– MSI GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER (12G Ventus 2X OC)
– Kingston Fury Beast RGB (32GB, 2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz RAM
– Kingston NV3 SNV3S 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD
– MSI MAG A650BN 650W 80+ Bronze PSU
– Thermalright Assassin X120 Refined SE ARGB CPU Cooler
– Thermaltake View 170 ARGB Tempered Glass mATX Case
I’m particularly interested in performance for gaming, so any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks!

This setup seems like overkill for 1080p gaming. If you’re planning to stick with 1080p for a while, you might not need all that power. However, if you’re thinking about moving to 1440p later, it could be a solid choice that keeps you future-proof!

That makes sense! I just want to ensure I’m getting good value for performance even if I’m only playing at 1080p for now.
