Hey everyone! I recently grabbed the player handbook for ‘Break!!’ and I’m really enjoying it so far. It has some cool mechanics reminiscent of ‘Shadow of the Colossus’ for battling colossal foes, along with a solid crafting system and interesting downtime mechanics.
As a long-time fan of warlocks, I think the battle and murder princess classes are awesome — you can customize pact weapons to be anything from gunblades to chain axes! Plus, there’s a class called Factotum that focuses on both out-of-combat support and combat abilities. If you’re into roleplaying, check out the Heretic class that summons folktale spirits to deal damage based on your success or failure!
I’m curious to hear what everyone else thinks about the system, especially those who’ve had a chance to check it out!

Knights of Last Call did a great first look on it! They mentioned some mechanics felt clunky, like using the same bonus for different outcomes depending on the situation.
I’m interested in checking it out too, but I noticed it’s not available on Amazon or DriveThru at the moment. Where do you find it?
Oh, they actually opened their own store on their website a couple of months ago! Plus, there’s a sale happening right now!
Is there any fetish content in this game or is that just a running joke? I love everything else I’ve heard, but I’d rather not get into anything weird.
I didn’t find anything sexual in the book at all. The closest was a mention about goblins being chaotic with short lives due to rapid reproduction, but that’s about it.
I was really excited about it too. I backed it and loved the concept, but my group didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped. I think we might’ve been taking it too seriously, and there were some mechanics that didn’t jive well with us. The book’s beautifully designed though!
That makes sense! I plan to re-theme or rename some of the elements since that seems to be a common critique. What specific mechanics didn’t you like?
Totally agree! Like any TTRPG, it has its quirks.
