I just started Chapter 2 in FF7 Rebirth and I’m completely blown away by the level of detail in the environments. I’ve played a lot of games, and some of the most visually stunning ones for me have been Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn, where the landscapes are breathtaking and invite you to explore. The town of Kalm really felt alive, bursting with character, which makes it hard to leave. Now that I’ve stepped out into the grasslands, I’m amazed by how lush, grand, and diverse everything looks. It’s genuinely overwhelming in the best way, reminding me of my own experiences exploring national parks around the world. The environmental artists behind this game have truly outdone themselves, crafting stories within the details that most might overlook. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the game’s design!

I totally agree! When I was in Junon, I was completely speechless – the way the environment and the massive city loom over it is incredible. I’ve been taking my time with it too, just trying to soak it all in before finishing the game. It’s always on my mind!
You’re going to absolutely love this game! It’s stunning and there’s so much fun to have while exploring.
I spent hours just wandering around, thinking, ‘Wow, this is beautiful.’ The detail is on another level!
SE went from having difficulties with HD towns to creating some of the best town designs in all of gaming with Rebirth. It’s incredibly detailed and immersive!
Totally! They nailed it this time around.
And there’s so much optional side content to keep you engaged while exploring! I don’t get why people complain about the open area side quests—they’re optional, they add to the fun, and some provide great lore too!
Exactly! It’s a whole experience just to go sightseeing and enjoy the views.
