Is this worth doing? I hate getting held up with long battles and stuff that end up giving you nothing but a shortage of supplies.

Depending on the number of wins you get,you will receive the following rewards for beating Battle Tree in Pokemon Sun.
- 10 Wins - PP Up
- 12 Wins - Rare Candy
- 30 Wins - Bottle cap
- 40 Wins - PP Max
- 50 Wins - Ability Capsule & Passport Stamps
