I’m curious about what others do with their kids once they grow up in the game. I usually limit myself to one or two kids, but I love the idea of a chaotic household with more. If you want to keep the family line going, how do you decide which kid to keep playing? Do you just move the others out? If you do that, don’t you lose all the inventory and personal items you’ve collected? I’d love to hear how you manage this in your gameplay!

The simplest method for me is to keep the one I like on the lot and move out the others. Siblings usually find partners and get married, which keeps the family connections alive. If I want to keep collections, I move the whole family out first, then bring back my chosen heir and let the rest live elsewhere, preserving their stuff. It’s all about keeping my favorite items!
I usually mark the kids I don’t want to play as unplayed in MCCC. This way, they can live their own lives while I focus on the chosen one. MCCC helps manage them in the background, so it works out pretty smoothly!
Hey! I’m just getting into MCCC, how does marking them as unplayed really change the game?
Honestly, I like keeping the heir in the family home while moving other siblings out. I consider their storylines too, and sometimes they have kids on their own too. It’s chaotic and fun!
That’s neat! How do you keep track of all the storylines without losing focus on your main heir?
I play rotationally so all the kids have their own stories, which keeps things interesting. I give them opportunities but focus on the chosen heir. I even let them visit their parents occasionally. Sometimes they have kids later on, and it really creates a rich storyline!
When the kids have kids, do you keep doing rotations for each generation, or switch it up?
That’s a clever way to keep the collections! I usually just let them earn their own way after moving out.
