Hey everyone! I’m curious about the Nintendo community’s perspective on Doug Bowser. Do you think he’s doing a good job, a bad job, or is it somewhere in between? I’d love to hear your thoughts and insights! Thanks! 🎮🎉

A lot of folks seem to miss the personal connection they had with Reggie. Bowser isn’t as much of a public figure, so people think he’s not doing a great job. But honestly, Nintendo’s power dynamic has changed a lot since the Wii and DS days. He’s done some good stuff, like improving distribution in Brazil, even if it’s not perfect.
Exactly! It’s like Reggie was an exception. Bowser doesn’t seem to have the freedom to shake things up.
I think it’s kind of funny how people joke about his name with the current grievances towards Nintendo. I mean, the memes are real, but it seems like there’s also some genuine frustration behind it.
Yeah, I see some complaints about pricing that seem to be holding way too much weight.
Bowser doesn’t seem to make many public appearances, unlike Reggie, who was always out there during big announcements. It’s like Bowser just… exists. We’re not really seeing his face connected to changes at Nintendo, which makes it hard to form an impression of him.
The only thing that stands out to me is his name. Just can’t help but chuckle at it! Bowser? Really? Haha!
Honestly, most of us probably don’t know what someone at his level really does. It’s hard to judge his performance when we can only see the surface. It’s not like he’s on the front lines all the time, right? In a way, he’s kind of like a shadow in the corner!
Totally get that. I often wonder what kind of impact the president of NOA truly has, especially since Nintendo is based in Japan. Is his main role just making sure we get our games here?
Yeah, I just watched an interview with him, and honestly, he seems pretty likable.
I actually think he’s better than Reggie! Reggie seemed more focused on squeezing money from fans rather than truly caring about us.
But didn’t Reggie fight for things like pack-in games for the Wii?
Leave it alone, guys!
At least he seems to bring in the cash!
He’s definitely no Reggie – and we can tell. I mean, I was bummed the Switch didn’t have a pack-in demo game like the Wii did.
I feel you! Reggie had a special connection and charisma that made him stand out, which Bowser just doesn’t have. Japanese business culture is also pretty different, so I doubt Bowser has the same influence over decisions.
