I’ve recently picked up an introductory painting set for miniatures that includes a primer, paints, a single brush, and some wire cutters. I’m wondering if there’s anything else I should get to kick off my painting hobby. I’ve also got a magnification lamp, a mini holder, some additional lamps, and a wet palette that I believe has a brush holder. Do I really need more brushes or maybe some sticky tack?

It sounds like you’re almost there! Having a good wet palette is great for keeping your paints fresh. I recommend picking up a couple more brushes of different sizes; they make a huge difference for detail work. Sticky tack is also handy for holding miniatures in place while you paint. Just be sure you don’t rush the process, and enjoy it!

Definitely more brushes! A mix of detail and base brushes will give you flexibility for various painting styles. And sticky tack is super useful for not leaving fingerprints on your models!
