I want to know about those moments in video games that scared you as a kid! For me, it was the first time seeing the balverines in Fable. Those werewolves still creep me out to this day. What about you?

The moment in Halo: Combat Evolved when you encounter the Flood for the first time really got to me. I was just bashing Covenant heads in with ease, but seeing those undead creatures swarm a squad of marines was horrifying. I alt-F4’d out of there as fast as I could!
Same here! That jump scare just got me every time I saw it.
The butler in the original Tomb Raider always freaked me out! And don’t even get me started on the time I played Resident Evil on the GameCube and saw that woman scream while wielding a butcher knife—I never touched that game again after that!
I couldn’t face the bears in Tomb Raider as a kid either! That game was terrifying!
Pulling the Master Sword in Ocarina of Time and facing those creepy zombies in Hyrule was a major scare for me as a kid. The atmosphere was intense!
I felt like I was in a horror movie during that sequence!
Honestly, that part is still unsettling even as an adult!
In the first Max Payne, that dream area with the fire and the crying babies still haunts me to this day. I rented it as a kid and boy, it was intense!
Yeah! I was around 10 when I played that scene, and I remember having to stop playing altogether once I ran into the Flood. Just terrifying!
