I recently got my hands on the new warbond items and while I find some aspects really fun, overall, they seem a bit lackluster. The Lever Action is awesome to use, but it feels odd that it takes up a primary slot when there are better options available. The pistol has potential but overheats way too quickly for my taste. The armor seems more like a novelty, useful mainly for a laugh, with the revolver being the only weapon that pairs well with it. On the bright side, the hover pack is enjoyable and fits well into various loadouts. Then there’s the dynamite, which I’m not really sure what to do with. How do you all feel about the new items? Any hidden gems?

The lever action is super effective if you get the pen and damage as high as it can go. It could use the same ammo as some old west guns. Have you tried using the armor with the Grenade Pistol or the Bushwhacker? I think they can really shine with the perk! Speaking of, the Bushwhacker is excellent with the gunslinger ability, giving you that wild west vibe.
The Deadeye rifle is pretty solid, especially for quick headshots on tougher enemies like devastators. For the Talon revolver, I get what you’re saying; its sound design is lacking, and it could definitely use a damage buff to make it feel more impactful. I like the armor’s aesthetics, and while it might not be top-tier, that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun. I haven’t tried the hoverpack yet, but I expect it’ll come in handy during intense fights!
I’ve been comparing the jet pack to the hover pack, and I have to say they both have their perks. The hover pack is great for hovering but sacrifices movement speed and has a longer cooldown. The jet pack is better for quick escapes. Each has its use, depending on your play style!
