I have gotten to the rooster bones that are under the weathervane in Mabe village. The hint was talking about using the rooster to fly around the place but all that is down here are some bones. What am I meant to do down here?

I forget where you find it, but you need to learn a new song on the Ocarina. You will find a giant frog called Mamu and he will teach you a song called “Frogs song of soul”. Play this next to the bones and it will do what you need to progress.
