What are the best ways to earn caps in Fallout 76?

-

I’ve gambled all my caps away in Fallout 76 and now I’m struggling to get around since I can’t even teleport anywhere. I’m looking for effective ways to earn caps so I can start playing without having to walk everywhere. Any tips?

If you’re near Whitesprings, Fort Atlas, Foundation, or Crater, you can fast travel there for free and do some trading. Also, the cap-finder perk is really helpful—don’t forget to stock up on that! You can sell to NPC vendors for up to 1400 caps daily, and consider crafting and selling legendary mods or popular ammo types at your shop.

I like to just gather steel and bulk it for selling. It’s not just steel; you can bulk other materials too. By selling off extras from my inventory, I can usually make at least 1000 caps a day. And selling chems is another good method—keep only what you need!

One solid way to earn caps is to focus on killing enemies and looting their bodies. Join an active team to participate in quests; that can help you get some caps too.

Make sure to have the perk that increases the number of caps found in containers. Keep an eye out for Mentats and other chems as they sell really well. Also, using a solid rifle for hunting enemies can save ammo and make looting more efficient—there are routes like Huntersville that can net you a good haul!

Look into selling Furious Mods and improved bait! I sell improved bait for about 100 caps each and it goes fast. Sell off any chems you’re not using, as vendors will buy all sorts. You might be surprised how fast that stuff sells!
