I’ve been experimenting with mutations in Fallout 76 and I was initially dealing 2k damage with my shots while my health was stable. However, after switching to what I found suggested online as ‘the best’ mutations, my damage dropped to around 1k-1.3k and my health is nearly gone. I can’t remember which mutations I originally had, and I’m feeling pretty lost here. I haven’t changed any of my perks, armor, or weapons/mods, so I’m hoping for some guidance. Thanks in advance!

Generally, you can stick with the same mutations as non-ghouls. However, consider adding the ones that make you explode when you take damage. As a ghoul, you won’t stagger from hits like humans do, plus they give you a small amount of rads, which helps.
It really depends on your specific build! If you’re using a heavy weapon like a Gatling plasma or mini gun, you might want to consider mutations that maximize your damage output while keeping health in check.
Yeah, those work great with a full heavy build! Just keep adjusting until you find the right balance.
I basically use the same mutations I had before I became a ghoul. They still work well, so don’t feel like you have to switch them up entirely.
True! But just remember, you need the Brick Wall mutation to be fully stagger-proof while getting hit. It’s not automatic.
