Hey everyone! My wife has just started playing Warframe with me, and she’s looking for a strong female Warframe to dive into. A while back, someone recommended Dante to me, and I’ve been loving it! Now, I’d love to get your thoughts on female Warframes that are effective without needing to rely too heavily on weapons—ideally ones that match the utility and power of Gara. What do you recommend?

I’d suggest checking out Wisp—she’s a solid support and has awesome damage potential, plus some stunning skins! Also, Protea offers great damage and support, and she’s quite self-sufficient. Gyre can dish out some insane ability damage too! Just keep in mind that Dagath might require a bit more grinding unless you go for the purchase option, but she’s definitely worth it if you’re up for a challenge.
Nova is my pick! She can manage crowd control and destruction like a champ. I’d definitely suggest using ‘Nourish’ as an ability for added versatility. Just my two cents!
I personally enjoy playing as Wisp and Citrine. Wisp is very versatile with her motes offering healing and speed boosts, plus solid crowd control. Citrine can heal too and has great damage and crit potential.
She might also want to check out Protea, Mirage, Mag, Nyx—these frames can handle practically anything in the game while keeping it straightforward. Plus, Titania is really fun for her speedy playstyle!
1. Valkyr is incredible post-rework; her exalted abilities make her a beast, and she can go invincible.
2. Wisp can really amp up the team with buffs, plus she has great crowd control and survivability.
3. Mag is quite versatile—great for any mission type, with a solid crowd control and damage output.
4. Mesa has an insane exalted weapon making her independent and a force to reckon with.
5. Garuda scales well in damage and survivability, just don’t expect her to control crowds like some others can.
