What Are the Best Classic Games to Emulate on My Steam Deck?

Hey everyone! I’m on a mission to find some classic games I can emulate on my Steam Deck. I’ve mostly played old Pokémon games, but I’m open to any classic titles that are widely regarded as must-plays, especially RPGs. I’m considering starting with The Legend of Zelda or Dragon Quest, but I’m unsure if I should kick things off with the very first games or if there’s something better to dive into. What classic games do you think hold up well over time? Also, is there a good website where I can find reviews or recommendations for retro games, like those from NES or GameBoy? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

You should definitely check out Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy VI, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Metroid. If you’re into Pokémon, there are cool ROM hacks available too! What do you think about starting with A Link to the Past? It’s a classic that still feels great to play today.
