I’m looking for recommendations on cases and screen protectors for my 512GB Steam Deck OLED. I know I could just search online, but I’d rather hear what you all are currently using and what works best. If you have links to Amazon or other sites, that would be super helpful!

I recently got this screen protector, and it was super easy to apply. Fits perfectly on the Steam Deck without any issues. I usually prefer my devices without cases, so I can’t comment on that. Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B55ZD4HL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1.
I use that exact screen protector too, and the anti-glare version works wonders!
I really like the Killswitch from D-Brand. I’ve had mine for 2 years, and it fits like it’s part of the deck. The military-grade faceplate is a huge plus since I don’t have to carry extra gear around. Super ergonomic too.
Does it feel heavy or bulky? I want to try it but I’m not sure how it would feel in hand.
Is this the one you’re talking about? How’s the kickstand? I have a Legion Go, and its kickstand is a lifesaver for longer gaming sessions.
It’s annoying people tell you to just Google it. You want honest human reviews, not generic answers. That’s why discussions like this are great; they provide real, in-depth feedback.
Exactly! But I get that questions like this pop up a lot. Just search, and you’re bound to find a Reddit thread answering it.
For cases, Skull & Co. is my go-to. Their grip case is fantastic, especially if you have larger hands. It’s affordable and really protective. Check out their GripCase SD for Steam Deck here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBV4NKD2?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3.
Seconded on Skull & Co.! That case fits like a glove and provides solid grip.
That yellow frame is clever! I’ve had trouble aligning protectors because of my wrist injury. Did you use the dust stickers? I’m worried wipes might leave some residue. How about bubbles?
