What are the Best Beginner-Friendly MMORPGs to Play on PS5?

-

I’ve been curious about diving into an MMORPG on my PS5. I tried out Final Fantasy XIV and Black Desert Online quite some time ago, but I found them overly complex, which left me feeling frustrated. I understand that these types of games often become more intricate over time, but are there any MMORPGs that are particularly good for beginners or offer a smoother introduction?

You might want to check out Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). It’s got a pretty engaging world and storyline that could be enticing. However, keep in mind that inventory management can be a bit cumbersome unless you’re willing to subscribe, which might make it feel smoother.

Old School RuneScape (OSRS) could be worth a shot. It’s pretty accessible on mobile or PC, and while it’s got depth, it doesn’t overwhelm you all at once. Though, it’s not available on PS5, it’s definitely newcomer-friendly.

I hear you on FFXIV feeling overwhelming. Personally, it was my first MMO, and I found it quite intuitive after a bit. It’s a fantastic game if you’re able to push through the initial learning curve, but I totally get it if it’s not up your alley.
