I’m looking for some low-stakes single-player RPGs with a bit of action that I can play without sound. My girlfriend works from home, and my days off line up with her work days, so I need something easy and fun. I usually listen to podcasts while gaming, but I don’t have headphones for my Xbox Series S, nor do I plan to get any. Any recommendations?

If you want something easy and fun, I’d recommend trying out farming or life simulation games. There are also RPGs like those from Bethesda, the Persona series, or even the Yakuza games. They can involve some strategy due to their turn-based combat, but they’re generally pretty chill. Lots of options for casual gaming!
The Borderlands games are a solid choice! They’ve got a lot of humor, and while the voice acting is fun, you can totally enjoy the gameplay without the sound. Plus, they have a nice mix of action and exploration that keeps things interesting. Give it a try!
Stardew Valley is perfect for what you’re looking for! It’s a casual RPG where you can easily put in a ton of hours, plus it’s perfect for podcast listening. The stakes are low — if you die, you just lose a couple of items, and you can always get them back. Plus, the mines offer some action when you want it!
Hell yeah thank you!
Sick I’ll check it out!
