I’m in the mood to dive into a PC game focused on construction and building. Whether it’s a city builder, factory simulator, survival game, or something similar, I want to spend time gathering resources, managing upgrades, and expanding my creations. It’d be cool if the game involves mining, and also managing utilities like water and electricity. Looking for recommendations that fit this vibe. Thanks!

You should definitely check out Satisfactory if you haven’t already. It’s an awesome factory-building game where you gather resources, set up production lines, and optimize your base. It’s super addictive and I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into it.
You could also look into Planetbase or Subnautica. Both have base-building combined with managing resources and survival, though Subnautica limits your building freedom more than others.
If city building is your thing, Cities: Skylines is a classic that still holds up perfectly. You get to plan out your city, manage utilities like water and electricity, and balance the budget. Tons of expansion mods, too!
RimWorld might be a bit different since it’s more of a colony simulator, but it has a strong focus on building and managing your settlers’ needs and resources. There’s mining and survival elements as well.
Some other good ones are Anno 1404 or Anno 1800. They mix city building with resource management and trading. Also, games like Minecraft or Raft offer more open, sandbox-style building with resource gathering and survival mechanics.
