I’m looking for some chill games where I can just turn my brain off and enjoy myself. I’ve enjoyed titles like Vampire Survivors, Halls of Torment, and Death Must Die, as well as Balatro and Nubby’s Number Factory. I also dig Euro Truck Simulator and American Truck Simulator for a laid-back vibe. Minecraft is cool too, but I’m not into Factorio, Satisfactory, or farming games like Stardew Valley. I also like Noita and Slay the Spire. Any recommendations for super chill games that are perfect to play while watching YouTube?

You might want to check out ‘A Short Hike’! It’s a lovely game that’s perfect for just relaxing and exploring at your own pace.
PowerWash Simulator has gained a lot of traction lately. It may sound simple, but there’s something oddly satisfying about cleaning things! I’m also a fan of Crime Scene Cleaner if you’re into that ‘cleaning’ genre.
I’ll add that Crime Scene Cleaner is surprisingly fun too!
If you want more suggestions, ’20 Minutes Until Dawn’ is a fantastic vampire survivors-like game. Also check out Soulstone Survivors, and for something completely different, how about a classic run with Katamari Damacy? It’s such a quirky experience!
If you’re into managing stuff, try Schedule 1 for a unique take on managing a drug den. For something open-world, Sable is a cool indie exploration game. If you want a Minecraft-like feel, give Starbound a shot—it’s pretty fun! Also, for simulator goodness, I’d recommend Car Mechanic Simulator or the underrated Taxi Life.
You might really enjoy Brotato! It’s similar to Vampire Survivors but has its own challenges that keep it engaging without being too stressful.
I’ve already put 100 hours into Brotato—it’s definitely one of my go-to chill games!
Could you explain the appeal? I’ve heard people rave about it, but it seems like there are a ton of simulator games out there.
