I’m on the hunt for games that really challenge my brain with some deep logic puzzles. Professor Layton used to be my go-to back in the day, but now I’m looking for something more intense. I love pure puzzle games, but exploration games like Myst, Obduction, or The Witness are cool too. Detective games such as Ace Attorney also interest me, and I’ve enjoyed quirky indie titles like Baba is You and Braid. However, I’m not really into games with endless fetch quests or frustrating needle-in-haystack scenarios. I just want those intricately crafted, high-difficulty puzzles that really make me think. Any recommendations?

Superliminal is another great game that plays with perspective and logic—it’s both fun and mind-bending. Definitely worth checking out!
If you haven’t already, don’t miss out on the Room series—those puzzles are pretty fantastic, especially if you’re looking for something well-crafted. Also, if you’re into independent games, Timelie is a solid choice for puzzling fun. And keep an eye out for specials on these titles!
You should definitely check out automation games like Factorio! They have some serious logic elements in them. Also, Into the Breach is like a tactical RPG with lots of engaging logic puzzles. Opus Magnum is great for its automation puzzles too, where you can optimize your solutions in different ways. Those should really scratch your itch for complex thinking!
Ever thought about playing NandGame? It’s not just about puzzles, you actually build a computer from scratch step-by-step. It starts off easy but gets pretty complex—it’s a cool way to literally see how computers work!
If you enjoy deduction games, give Return of the Obra Dinn a try! It’s quite atmospheric and focuses on solving puzzles within a defined space. On the indie frontier, Case of the Golden Idol has some great individual puzzles that create an intriguing story. There’s also The Roottrees are Dead, which is a free genealogical mystery that you might find interesting.
