What are some great games with character recruitment and a homebase?

-

I’m on the lookout for games that let you recruit a ton of characters and provide a big homebase or hub area to manage everything. I’m primarily interested in titles for PlayStation or Nintendo consoles. I’ve already enjoyed games like Suikoden, Eiyuden Chronicle, Ni no Kuni 2, Dark Cloud, Digimon World, and Ys 8. If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them!

The Last Remnant is also a solid pick for character recruitment and strategy.

Don’t forget about Disgaea! It has tons of characters and a strong management aspect.

Here are some games that come to mind, assuming you’ve played all the Suikoden and Digimon ones:
– Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity
– White Knight Chronicles 1/2, which has a similar vibe to Dark Cloud
– Xenoblade Chronicles 1
– Phantasy Star Nova
– EGGLIA Rebirth
– Brave Fencer Musashi
– Breath of Fire 2
– Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
– Skies of Arcadia
– Ys9
– Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

Are all the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games like that?

Dragon Age series is fantastic for that! You get to recruit many characters and build your own party.
