I’m on the hunt for a driving game where I can just take it easy and enjoy some beautiful scenery. I thought about Forza, but zooming around at 150 km/h feels more like crawling, and the visuals in FH5 seem a bit dull. BeamNG has detailed cars, but the landscapes leave a lot to be desired. I’ve often seen Grand Theft Auto V recommended, but honestly, it’s feeling pretty stale for me now. I’m looking for something that meets these criteria: decent graphics (preferably from 2012 or newer), nice scenery, a variety of cars (not crucial), and a good sense of speed.

Final Fantasy XV is a good one for cruising! The driving isn’t essential, but the visuals are breathtaking. I used to drive to every quest just to soak in the beauty.
Give Assetto Corsa a shot with the No Hesi mod. It’s mostly about speed and dodging traffic, but you can still just enjoy a leisurely cruise in different cars. The scenery isn’t the best, but if cruising is your goal, it works! Just remember to grab the Ultimate pack from Steam for the best experience!

Test Drive is a classic for this. It’s all about the cruising vibes and has some great roads to explore.
Fuel has an enormous map perfect for cruising around! It’s massive, almost like racing through Montenegro, which offers a great experience.
What about a Truck Simulator? I haven’t played it, but I hear it has some stunning landscapes to drive through, plus you can just chill out on the road.
Have you tried BeamNG? If you look for community-made maps, there are some fantastic ones that can enhance your cruising experience!
Totally agree, those user-created maps are a game-changer!

Also keep an eye out for the new Mario Kart World when it comes out. Might be something fun to try!
Haha, same! It really adds to the playtime, just driving around for the fun of it. Just be aware, getting the cars might take a bit of effort.
