What are some great coop games for driving and shooting with friends?

-

I’m really into coop games where I can drive or fly around while my friends take on gunner roles, like in Battlefield. We have a blast working together, spotting enemies, and blasting them away. I’m looking for games that focus on this type of teamwork, especially where vehicles are central to gameplay. I’ve tried a few PvP games, but the vehicle options are often too limited. Here’s what I’ve checked out:

– **Star Citizen**: Great concept but it often runs poorly.
– **Helldivers 2**: The vehicles are cool, but not the focus.
– **Battlefield 4 & 5**: Fun vehicles but they’re kind of limited in multiplayer.
– **Arma/Squad**: I haven’t tried these yet but I’ve heard similar limitations apply.

Are there any coop games that really let you go crazy with vehicles and bots?

The **Halo series** (especially 3 and Reach) is worth a look! And if you can find a server, **Guns of Icarus** is a coop PvP game where you can pilot steampunk airships alongside friends, which is a blast!

Any **ARMA** game would be great! They have cooperative missions that aren’t just PvP. Plus, there’s lots of different vehicles to mess around with together. Give it a shot!

Don’t forget **Battlefield 1942**! It has multiplayer against AI, and I believe it has multi-person vehicles. Plus, it’s nostalgic. Also, if you enjoyed Halo’s vehicle mechanics, you might appreciate the team dynamics there too.

Totally! In Halo, if you have two people, one can drive and the other can take the gun. It also works nicely with their helicopters and tanks!

SniperScout225 -

How about **PUBG**? It has vehicles and some coop play, but it can get a little chaotic with other players around.

TankCommander99 -

Have you tried **Operation Arrow**? It allows one player to drive while another uses turrets, creating a perfect setup for that driving-and-gunning dynamic.

RifleRunner88 -

You might want to check out **Running With Rifles**. It’s a fun game with various vehicles, and while options can be limited, you can unlock and spawn vehicles if you rank up. Just watch out for higher-ranked players stealing your rides; it’s kind of frowned upon, but it happens!

ShootingStar22 -

**Far Cry 6** features some solid vehicle options and coop gameplay. Other games in the series might have similar setups, so it’s worth trying out too!

You should check out **Starfox Zero**! It’s a fun game where you can drive around and shoot with your friends. Not the traditional setting, but definitely fits the bill for creative driving and shooting!
