I’m on the hunt for engaging card or board games where I can strategize against real opponents. I’m talking about stuff like Hearthstone or Magic: The Gathering. I’m open to all platforms, but I prefer PC or mobile for convenience. What games do you recommend?

If you’re looking for mobile games, try Star Realm, Magic Arena, and Pokémon TCG. Magic Arena is a favorite of mine because it’s been around for ages and the mobile version is really well done, especially with tutorials. It gives you various ways to play, whether you wanna go free or spend a bit.
You should definitely check out Board Game Arena! It’s an online platform where you can play a ton of classic board games with real people in either real-time or turn-based modes, and it’s mostly free! They’ve got over 400 games like Wingspan, Settlers of Catan, and Ticket to Ride. They even have a premium option if you’re interested, but you can jump into a lot of games without paying. It’s available on both PC and mobile, so it’s super accessible.
I’ve been diving into Marvel Snap lately! It’s not something you’ll play for hours, but it’s perfect for quick sessions when you have a few minutes to spare. I’m not 100% on the multiplayer for Yu-Gi-Oh games, but there’s also Magic: The Gathering Arena, which I hear is solid.
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links is also a fantastic option, especially on mobile. It’s really user-friendly and works great on the go.
Just saw that Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days 2 just hit Steam, and I’ve been loving it! It’s a blast if you’re into card games.
