I’m really drawn to games that create a sense of vulnerability, where you feel small and powerless against something massive that might be coming after you. I love the thrill of hiding and evading rather than battling it out. I’ve found Militsioner, but it’s still in development. I know Shadow of the Colossus has that giant creature vibe, but I’m not really into facing bosses. Any suggestions for games that capture that eerie feeling?

You should check out Bramble and Little Nightmares! They both have that unsettling feeling where you’re just a small character navigating a world filled with bigger threats. Definitely gives you those tense moments!
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is a classic! The Dahaka always had me on edge, feeling completely powerless. The chase scenes are insane! While it might not be enormous, it definitely gives that small versus large dynamic. Super frustrating but also super engaging!
I agree! Frustrating game aesthetics, but those action sequences are top-notch!
Games like Amnesia, Outlast, and Alien Isolation feature monsters that can’t be killed for most of the game, but they’re always hunting you. They vary in size but definitely bring that constant feeling of dread!
So true! Amnesia definitely nails that horror element.
If you haven’t tried Subnautica yet, it’s a must! It’s all about exploring this vast ocean while being mindful of the massive creatures that lurk beneath. It really nails that ‘feel small’ vibe. Plus, there’s a mod called Something of the Ancients that features a giant leviathan!
Subnautica is amazing, totally worth diving into!
Check out Little Nightmares, it’s focused on that creepy, small character feel while facing towering foes. Not giant, but definitely big enough to make you feel tiny!
Yeahhh, those chase scenes really crank up the tension!
