What are some fun single-player games for the Switch that are enjoyable to watch?

-

I’m looking for some fun games to play on the Switch that my best friend can also enjoy watching. We had an awesome time with Bug Snax, which we dubbed ‘Bug Snax night.’ Now that I’ve finished it, we’re eager to find another game to dive into together. We don’t really like Zelda, and I’m not great at Mario games. We’ve played Animal Crossing, but Stardew Valley doesn’t spark my interest. Any recommendations for single-player games that are entertaining for both of us?

Check out Outer Wilds! It’s got a fantastic mystery vibe, and it’s perfect for a spectator experience. My wife, who’s not a gamer, loved watching me play it. She’d guide me on where to go and what to do—it’s a great collaborative adventure!

If you like space and humor, you might enjoy The Outer Worlds too, but just don’t mix them up!

We Heart Katamari on the Switch is a hilarious game that’s fun to play and watch. Plus, there’s a co-op mode if you’re interested in that!

Totally! It’s an absolute riot, especially with a friend.

Yoshi’s Crafted World is a blast! It’s super cute and pretty accessible for casual gamers. Also, if you liked Animal Crossing, you might consider Hello Kitty Island Adventure since it has a similar relaxing vibe and rewards daily playing.

Have you thought about the Spyro Reignited Trilogy? It’s a fun throwback, great for nostalgic gameplay, and super enjoyable to watch!

You might really enjoy Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It’s a turn-based strategy game that sparks a lot of discussions over tactics. Plus, there’s a social aspect with the in-game school, making it enjoyable for both players and viewers. With five different endings, there’s also plenty of replay value!

I played it while my mom watched, and even though the combat wasn’t her thing, she loved following the story and the characters!
