I’m looking for recommendations for 2-player games that only require one controller for my girlfriend and me to enjoy. We have PlayStation Plus Premium, so I’m hoping to find some ‘pass and play’ games that we can dive into together.

Phogs is a cool option where both of you hold the controller at the same time, each taking a stick to control your characters. It’s super fun, though can get a bit chaotic!
For some horror thrills, you might enjoy Until Dawn or The Quarry. They allow for multiple characters to be controlled, so you can each have a character to play as during the story.
You could try Bloodborne as a pass-the-controller type of game. Let each other take turns when you die, and you’ll both get to experience all the intense gameplay together.
Overcooked is another fun choice! You can both work together to cook up dishes while passing the controller back and forth.
The Worms series is a blast and perfect for this! Not sure if they’re included in PS+, but they’re usually pretty affordable. You can have up to 8 players using just one controller, which is awesome. Worms WMD is one of the latest and best editions, and there are tons of older titles to check out too.
