What are some addictive immersive games in sci-fi and fantasy?

-

I’m on the hunt for some engaging games that I can really dive into and get addicted to. I’ve already spent a ton of time playing Project Zomboid, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, RimWorld, and Skyrim. I’m particularly a fan of both sci-fi and fantasy games, so I’m looking for recommendations that fit those genres.

If you’re looking for immersive experiences, you can’t go wrong with Red Dead Redemption 2 and Watch Dogs 2. RDR2 is an absolute time sink—once you start playing, it feels like you get swallowed whole by its world!

Totally, RDR2 will have you hooked for hours! I’m thinking about doing a second playthrough myself.

And don’t forget Factorio; that game will also consume your life!

You should definitely dive into Mass Effect! I can’t get enough of it, even Andromeda. I’m on my fifth playthrough and it’s stopping me from trying other games!

Mass Effect Andromeda is on my radar now, thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely give it a try.

I’d highly recommend checking out Deus Ex (both the original and Human Revolution) and the Thief trilogy. If you want something truly immersive, give Alien: Isolation a shot. And Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3 are classics in their own right—definitely worth playing!
