I’ve been trying all day to create an AXS account so I can buy TI tickets, but nothing works. I’m a German resident currently in Thailand and have tried multiple devices, SIM cards, emails, browsers (including incognito), and even both Android and Apple platforms. In browsers, clicking ‘create’ does nothing, and in the app, I get a brief loading icon followed by an error saying it can’t detect my IP. I also couldn’t find any live chat help option on the AXS website, despite some articles mentioning it exists. Has anyone figured out a reliable way to get past this? Also, why can’t you just buy tickets directly through Barclays since they’re managing the venue and ticket system? It feels like every PGL event’s ticketing system is a mess — they’ve already had problems in Singapore and Denmark. I’d really appreciate any guidance or solutions.

I’ve had the same problem but found a workaround: try switching to the old AXS page UI and sign in through Facebook. To get to the old style, scroll down to the bottom of the page. That method helped me register successfully and now I can log in without any issues.
AXS is definitely glitchy for international users right now. Even folks not traveling face issues with verification and account creation just freezing. It’s frustrating for such a high-demand event like TI. PGL events tend to hit these same roadblocks—feels like déjà vu from past events in Singapore and Denmark. Would be great if someone cracked a working guide because the official support is basically nonexistent.
What worked for me was switching off WiFi and using mobile data on my phone to register. Laptop registration won’t work over WiFi but the phone app with phone data connection seems to function better. Facebook login is broken though, so avoid that. Also, I tried using my phone as a hotspot for my laptop — couldn’t log in directly, but I managed to add tickets to the cart, and then the login worked right before payment. This was a slow and frustrating process but worth a try if you’re stuck.
