I’m having a weird issue with uTorrent (and qbittorrent too). My internet connection is solid, with speedtest results showing around 900 Mbps down and 700 Mbps up, yet my downloads are really slow—typically only hitting 10-20 MB/s instead of the 90 I expect. It seems to be a problem across all torrent sites. Does anyone have suggestions for fixing this?

Make sure your outgoing bandwidth is set to Unlimited in uTorrent. If it’s limited, it might hold back your downloads. Also, play around with the settings; I’ve noticed that sometimes adjusting the upload limits can help, even if that seems counterintuitive.
The speed you get from torrents really depends on the upload speeds of the people sharing the files. If there are only a few seeders (the ones uploading), your download speed will be limited. Try to find torrents with a lot of seeders and fewer leechers (those downloading) for better speeds. It can make a big difference!
