Hey folks! I need some help with a tech issue. My roommate recently built me a new gaming PC, and for a while, everything was great. However, I’ve been experiencing some serious lag when I launch games, with Warframe being the worst offender. We’ve tried resetting the PC and completely reinstalling everything from Steam, but the lag still persists. Is there anyone here who plays on PC and can offer some advice?

If you’re like I was when I first built my PC, it could be that the cooling system wasn’t properly plugged in. That can lead to overheating, which will cause significant lag.
Make sure to check your game settings, especially the graphics options. Even though Warframe is highly optimized, some settings can cause major lag, particularly the particle effects. Remember that when you reinstall Warframe, all your settings revert to the high-ultra defaults, which can really tax your system.
