Hey everyone! I recently picked up the Doom 64 port from GOG, but I’m hitting a wall—it’s just not launching for me. I’ve checked everywhere but can’t find anyone else having a similar issue. It’s super frustrating! The closest thing I see is this error log when trying to run it, showing various debug messages. If anyone has suggestions or tips, I’d really appreciate it!

I’m on Ubuntu too, and I have a similar setup with an MSI laptop. But I actually run into issues when not using Heroic. If you’ve tried launching through Heroic and it’s still crashing, you might want to check if you have all the required libraries installed. Sometimes it might be a missing dependency.
Hey there! First off, could you tell us what distro and hardware you’re using? Also, how are you trying to launch Doom 64? If you’re using Heroic, it works seamlessly with the Epic version, so it might be worth seeing if you can get that to run instead.
