Hey everyone! I’m having a bit of a problem with my HP 800 G1 tower. It’s got an Intel i5-4570 and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. I recently upgraded by adding a GTX 1050 Ti, but now when I try to boot it up, nothing happens – not even the stand-up light on the motherboard turns on. Just to note, I’m using a 240W power supply, which might be part of the issue. Any suggestions or help would be really appreciated! Thanks!

It sounds like your power supply unit (PSU) might not be sufficient to support the new GPU. The GTX 1050 Ti requires more power than your current setup, so if the PSU is weak, that could definitely cause booting issues.
Another thing to consider is whether the GPU is properly seated. Sometimes, if it’s not inserted correctly, it can lead to boot failures. Also, try checking all your connections to ensure everything is snug. If you’re still having issues after trying that, it might be worth testing the PSU with another setup.
