I’ve got a BeQuiet case (can’t remember the exact model), and while my PC starts off silently in the mornings, it tends to hum when idle. Whenever I run tasks like watching videos or playing even older games at lower settings, the PC gets quite loud, as the fans kick in. I’ve got 7x 120mm fans and 1x 140mm fan, set up for both intake and exhaust. I’ve cleaned the PC recently, but this loudness has been an issue since day one, even with my previous setup over the last five years. I suspect the GPU might be a problem, but I repasted it recently and the temperatures are good. I also use a Corsair AIO cooler, which hasn’t changed anything. Is there anything I can do to reduce this noise?

Have you considered whether you really need eight fans? I only use four and it works fine for me. You might want to tweak your fan curves to see if you can keep them spinning slower when you’re not under heavy load.
Start by using something like Open Hardware Monitor to check your temps. It sounds like your PC might be struggling to dissipate heat. If that’s the case, look into replacing the thermal paste on your CPU too.
