I’m new to playing as a Warlock and chose the Hexblade subclass. Most of my attacks are melee, and I’d love some advice on how to better utilize this class. Also, is there any way for me to gain immunity to blindness, maybe through an item or something? I’m currently in Act 1.

Definitely check out the invocations as you level up. One let’s you cast Mage Armor for free, which is handy! While ‘Devil’s Sight’ won’t make you immune to blindness, being on normal difficulty means you can experiment. Don’t forget that you can always respec if you want to try different builds later!
A great starting point is to pick the ‘Devil’s Sight’ eldritch invocation at level 2 or 3. It lets you see through magical darkness, which is super helpful, though it doesn’t grant total immunity to blindness. Just keep in mind it won’t prevent you from being actually blind if that situation arises.
That’s true! Just to clarify, while invocations are useful, they don’t prevent blindness. You might want to look for equipment that grants Blindsight; it’s rare but can be a game-changer! I’d also recommend focusing on ‘Eldritch Blast’ for ranged attacks where appropriate, even if you’re rocking melee.
