Hey everyone! I occasionally server hop in Fallout 76, especially when my camp is blocked or I’m looking for specific resources. The problem is, I often end up connecting to the same server repeatedly, even after several tries (like 5-8 times). I’m wondering if there are any tricks or methods to increase my chances of joining different servers. Any advice would be appreciated! I’m playing on PC.

If you have a list of friends online, hopping to their game is a great option! I’ve noticed that the same server issue seems worse, especially during late hours when fewer players are online. Sometimes I just exit the game temporarily and do something else for a few minutes before trying again, and that helps.
If you’re a Fallout 1st member, try starting a Private or Custom world and quit while it’s loading. If you don’t have 1st, just open the Atomic Shop and then close it, then try finding a new world. Oh, and joining friends on public servers is another solid option if they’re around!
One simple method that works for me is to exit to the main menu and then open the Atom Shop. Once it fully loads, head back to the main menu and try loading into a new server. This usually guarantees a new server option, unless there aren’t any available spots. Give it a shot!
This is definitely the way to go!
I’ve been adding more friends too, so I’ll definitely give that a whirl. I find Fallout 1st is essential for access to all these features!
