Hey everyone, I’ve been playing on the PS5 Pro since its launch and I’m curious about your honest thoughts on it. I feel like aside from titles like Rebirth and Stellar Blade, most games I’ve tried seem pretty much the same as on the standard PS5. I usually play in performance mode, but I didn’t notice any significant upgrades while playing games like Dragon Age, Avatar, or Star Wars Outlaws. With the Pro costing around $700, I expected a more noticeable difference. I’m aware that we’re still waiting on new AAA titles, but is anyone else feeling underwhelmed by it?

Honestly, the PS5 Pro feels like just a slightly upgraded PS5 to me. You won’t see the huge leap like we saw from PS4 to PS5. Some games utilize the upgrade better, while others don’t really show much difference at all. It’s kind of a mixed bag depending on the title you’re playing.
I’ve had a blast with it! Hogwarts Legacy looks fantastic, and games like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 really shine. To be fair, the Pro is all about visual upgrades and smoother framerates, so if you’re sensitive to those details, it can be worth it. But, if you can’t appreciate those improvements, it might not be for you. If you’re feeling underwhelmed, consider selling it and reverting back to the base console.
Totally get that! Hogwarts was great on the Pro, but I struggled with it at 30 FPS. I’ve heard good things about Kingdom Come, but it’s not really my style either.
