I’m having a great time replaying Halo 2, but I wanted to get your opinions on the different difficulty levels. There’s a huge leap from Normal to Heroic, which I couldn’t tackle as a kid, but now as an adult, I find Heroic to be tough yet enjoyably challenging. However, Legendary difficulty is brutally hard for me—I’ve struggled through sections like the Hunters in the Outskirts and restarted checkpoints multiple times. The first level took me nearly an hour! So, I’m curious about your experiences and strategies for tackling Legendary. How do you feel about completing the full campaign on that difficulty?

Legendary in Halo 2 feels almost broken. You really need to think outside the box—it’s more of a puzzle than a straightforward shooter. Use every exploit and weapon combo at your disposal to make it through.
Legendary is like playing from the Grunt’s point of view—pure chaos! It’s tough, but in a way, it’s a different kind of fun. Just remember, it’ll test your patience and skill for sure.
When I do a Legendary playthrough, I turn it into a speedrun. I use skips like the outskirts skip and any tricks that help me advance. It’s the only way I can tackle that version nowadays!
I mostly play Legendary only when it’s for something specific. My strategy is all about stealth—sneak around and take shortcuts wherever you can. You can actually skip the Hunters in the Outskirts, which really helps!
Legendary is definitely more manageable in co-op mode, just make sure nobody goes down! It’s way easier when you have a partner to back you up.
Totally! The invulnerability glitch at the end of The Oracle is a lifesaver.
