I’m working on a new PC build and have some specific parts in mind. I’ve already got a Corsair 4000D Airflow case and a Corsair 850W PSU. Currently, I’m using a Ryzen 3700X CPU with an RTX 2060 Super GPU, but I want to upgrade to an RTX 5070, as the 5070 Ti is a bit out of my budget. Besides gaming, I also do programming in Unity, use Visual Studio Code, work with Android Studio, and edit videos in DaVinci Resolve, so I’m looking for a solid balance between performance and cost. Honestly, if you can stretch your budget just a little, it might be worth it to grab the 5070 Ti. The performance boost is noticeable, especially at 1440p. I agree with some others about possibly reconsidering the motherboard if that B650 is pushing your budget too much. You could find some decent alternatives that still support future upgrades!
Your build looks pretty solid, especially the Ryzen 7 9700X paired with the RTX 5070. That’s a great combo for both gaming and productivity tasks. Just make sure you check the prices for that motherboard; sometimes they can be way overpriced. Also, if you’re set on NVIDIA, there’s really no harm in sticking with it. They usually have good quality IPS panels that will work great for both gaming and your programming tasks. Another tip: make sure your case airflow is optimized, especially with that 4000D!
