Hey everyone! I’ve put in about 300 hours into my high elf DPS and I’m considering making a second character, hoping to focus on either a tank or a healer this time around. Since I have access to all classes, I’m not sure what might be the best route to take. However, I have some reservations. Is leveling up a second character a huge grind? I’m not keen on treating the game like a job, and I definitely don’t want to spend another hundred hours on basic tasks just to create a playable character. I know I’ll need to get my new character to level 50 to unlock all champion points, but what else should I consider? If I’ve leveled crafting on my main, will I need to do it all again on my second character? Can I transfer gear (like fancy stuff) from my main to my new character by using the bank? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Managing multiple characters can be a hassle! You’ll need to redo a lot of stuff like quests and skill points. Instead of starting fresh, you might want to build a tank on your main character using the subclassing feature. This way, you can swap between builds without all the extra grinding.
So it’s possible to just use one character for different roles? I haven’t figured out subclassing yet, but will I still need to level those skill lines separately on different toons?
