Hey everyone! I’ve noticed that TAA is set as the default option on the Steam Deck for Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. I’m looking for some expert opinions here. Is FSR really better than TAA when it comes to performance and image quality on the Steam Deck? Also, does the game support the latest version of FSR (3.1.1)? Thanks in advance!

From my experience, TAA tends to perform slightly better, but it’s just by 1 or 2 FPS. Still, I can’t hit a solid 30 FPS consistently, so keep that in mind!
You might want to just try both options and see which one feels better for you. Personal preference can really play a big role here!
Honestly, I’d recommend sticking with TAA. If you tweak your dynamic resolution settings to a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 65, it makes things look sharp and runs smoothly. I’ve been enjoying it a lot on the Deck, and it’s surprisingly well-optimized!
